In a Continuous Casting Machine (CCM), support rollers (also called secondary cooling zone rollers or guide rollers) are critical components in the secondary cooling zone that provide structural support to the semi-solidified steel strand (billet, bloom, or slab) as it exits the mold. Their primary role is to prevent bulging (deformation caused by internal liquid steel pressure) and ensure proper alignment and cooling of the strand during solidification.

In order to improve the working performance of CCM rollers, Seawoo overlays wear resistance layer with the material of Cr13 series on the base metal. The overlaying material have good wear resistance and heat resistance.
